The Chief Minister’s Disability Pension scheme is a state flagship programme for economic rehabilitation of persons with Disabilities to indigenous tribes of the state who have 100% degree of disabilities in the following categories:
(a). Orthopedic (b) Visual (c). Multiple Disabilities i.e, Cerebral Palsy with Visual/ Mental retardation, Deaf and Dumb with Locomotor Disability / mental retardation.
Under this scheme, disabled beneficiaries are given a financial assistance of Rs.1000/- per month as their economic rehabilitation.
During the last financial year 2017-18 the State Govt. had allocated an amount of Rs.82,08000/= against the said scheme to provide financial assistance to Disable persons as their economic rehabilitation.
The sanctioned amount has been released by the Social Justice & Empowerment and Tribal Affairs Deptt. to all the District Nodal Officers to make necessary payment of the pension amount to the beneficiaries of their respective district. To availed the above mentioned benefit the interested eligible persons are required to submit the application with the following documents to the nearest office of the District Nodal Officer i.e Deputy Director(ICDS)/CDPO(ICDS) for verification/scrutinization and onward submission of the same to the Directorate of Social Justice & Empowerment and Tribal Affairs, Deptt. Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh.
